2024 Fall TV Preview Issue

ER blew me (and millions of others) away when it reinvented the medical procedural back in 1994. Since then, the genre has exploded — even just at NBC, where one of my Texas family's favorites, New Amsterdam, just ended and Chicago Med is going on its 10th season. Now the network is attempting to reinvent once again, bringing Zachary Quinto back to where Heroes made him a star, with Brilliant MinDs. (Get it? The M and D are capitalized because they're doctors.)

That makes the new drama quite fitting as the cover of our reinvented Fall TV Preview issue, just our second full-fledged digital issue in EW history. We may not be solving anyone's neurological ailments, but we hope our preview package (starting today and rolling out over the next two weeks, featuring exclusive photos and interviews with juicy info on more than 75 shows) helps your brain hurt a little less as you attempt to navigate the crowded Fall TV lineup. Someone pull up our premiere date calendar, stat!
