Previously, the multi-hyphenate's signature style included a slicked-back haircut—bandana optional—and a clean-shaven face.

He previously teased fans with a different shot of his scruffier new vibe over the summer, sharing a behind-the-scenes photo from a movie set in West Virginia.

The actor-turned-artist has intentionally kept a low profile over the years, dedicating himself to his art, which he's dubbed "Abstract Emotionalism," per a statement on his official website. It noted that "over the years [Grieco] has kept a very low profile to aggressively concentrate on his art work.

"Although his work [is] most often categorised as abstract, you will also see forms of expressionism, surrealism, and cubism just to name a few," his website further explained.

Before his venture into the world of fine art, Grieco was a model and had an award-winning stint in Hollywood as one of the "'90s "heartthrobs."

Grieco is best known for his role in 21 Jump Street—also starring Johnny Depp—where he played Officer Dennis Booker for 18 episodes of the cop drama that ran between 1987 and 1991. Additionally, he starred in the 1991 action-comedy flick If Looks Could Kill, where he played Michael Corben opposite veteran character actress Linda Hunt.

Other notable credits include the Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell-led comedy A Night at the Roxbury (1998), an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2016) and more recently, Attack of the Unknown (2020).
