Y'all, the Fear Street movies are all out on Netflix, and they make up roughly six hours of epic slasher goodness with excellent character development to boot.

Between killer cast members and many literal kill scenes, there's a lot to love if you're a horror enthusiast (and maybe a low-key R.L. Stine stan).

Anyway, the trilogy is full of hilarious, horrifying, and heartwarming moments — here are our top favorite ones.

Warning: Major spoilers for the entire "Fear Street" trilogy on Netflix below!

1.When the trilogy opens with that epic slasher sequence.

Heather on the ground

The first five minutes are chock-full of suspense and bloody goodness. The gritty opening scene shows Heather (that's Maya Hawke from Stranger Things) closing up B. Dalton’s, the mall aglow with neon lights like an arcade. Suddenly, Heather finds herself the target of Skull Mask, aka a cursed Ryan Torres. Slasher terror ensues.

2.When Simon tells Nick to suck it.

Simon tells Nick to suck it

When Nick investigates the car crash in the woods, all of the teens come up with excuses to cover up their little Sunnyvale versus Shadyside feud. Ever so colorful, Simon tells Nick to suck it and calls him a pig, too. Sure, it's a fleeting moment. But knowing what we know now about Nick and his family's evil-doings, we're glad Simon calls him a pig (and later pees outside the police station, too). Stick it to the man, dude.

3.When Josh breaks down the interconnected Shadyside Killers case to Deena’s friends.

Josh's suspect board

With a bonkers suspect board, Josh might initially give off major QAnon conspiracy theorist vibes to his fellow classmates, but he actually ends up being the person who puts everyone else on the right path. Even if this is just a bit of exposition, it’s epic to see his research pay off. We support helpful nerds!

4.KATE’S DEATH.

Kate getting put through bread slicer

This death was a, um, surprise. Besides the fact that Julia Rehwald, aka Kate’s actress, has such a magnetic presence and her character deserved to live, we couldn’t really imagine anything beyond stabs and chops by this point in Fear Street Part One: 1994. But no, Skull Mask straight-up cakes Kate's face and legitimately runs her head through a BREAD SLICER.

5.When Sam tells Deena that she’ll see her later that night and kisses her in front of her mom.

Deena and Sam kiss

We love love. I mean, Sam later stabs babe in the gut that night, but it’s such a cute moment where she stands up to her mean and low-key homophobic mom. Plus, they're really a great couple when they're not trying to kill each other.

6.When Sam stabs Deena.

Sam stabs Deena

After enduring a messy breakup and bringing Sam back from the dead, you'd think that these teenagers would get a break, but nope! The stabbing scene tacked on at the end of the first movie is a fun cliff-hanger that sets us up for Part Two: 1978. Just like Ruby Lane sings, "You always hurt the one you love."

7.When Deena tells C. Berman that she can't let Sam die.

Deena talks to C. Berman

You really have to love someone to want the best for them even after they literally stab you in the gut. Deena telling C. Berman (aka Ziggy) that she loves Sam strikes a chord somehow, and the longtime recluse reluctantly agrees to help the kids out. Ah, even Ziggy's rooting for these two kids.

8.When Ziggy flips Nick off.

Ziggy flips off Nick

Long story short, Nick stops some camp bullies from burning Ziggy, but he is obviously full of himself afterward. Now that we're privy to Nick's little secret, we kind of wish Ziggy would flip him off forever? Not that we're condoning her dragging other girls, but it's gross how Nick likes to play the hero when he's literally evil.

9.When Tommy kills Arnie.

Tommy axes Arnie

Fear Street is a slasher trilogy, so we need to discuss some of the kill scenes themselves. Part Two: 1978 definitely has some of the scariest and most twisted murders, starting with a newly possessed Tommy straight-up axing Arnie in the head in the witch's lair.

10.When Cindy stabs the Camp Nightwing Killer (aka her former boyfriend Tommy) repeatedly to save Ziggy.

Cindy stabbing Tommy repeatedly

~That’s what sisters are for~. Plus, it’s such a cool moment of character development for Cindy because she starts out as an irritatingly responsible and straight-laced Goody Two–shoes. Now, she’s a full-blown badass who swears!

11.When Alice and Cindy have a heart-to-heart in the witch’s lair.

Cindy and Alice talk

As Cindy patches up Alice’s legs, both of them have a deep conversation about being broken Shadysiders. It’s one of those moments that show how the Fear Street trilogy is fundamentally about young women’s relationships with each other — whether they're platonic, familial, or romantic.

12.When Cindy BEGGED the Shadyside Killers and Sarah Fier to let her sister live.

Ziggy and Cindy at Camp Nightwing

I’m not crying — you’re crying. Tommy ends up axing Cindy to death, and Ziggy almost dies from The Milkman stabbing her. But lo and behold, Nick comes to the rescue and somehow revives her by way of CPR? (We bet it’s really him whispering something to the devil, though.)

13.When Hannah and Sarah get frisky in the woods in 1666.

Sarah and Hanna make out in the woods

What can we say? This moment is hot — if we're putting aside the fact that some creep is lurking around.

14.When Cyrus Miller cracks under the Goode curse.

Cyrus Miller

One of the most memorable moments in the trilogy is the stark imagery of Pastor Miller standing in church in front of a bunch of dead kids with gouged-out eyes. It's an absolutely TERRIFYING showcase, and we're glad the 1666 part spared us the actual murder spree.

15.When Sarah Fier confesses.

The real Sarah Fier

Certified trash Solomon Goode continues pretending to be a kindly villager even though he’s secretly an occultist bargaining with the devil for power. Sarah Fier unfortunately gets hanged, and she confesses to crimes that she definitely didn’t commit. Before dying, she delivers an epic monologue to tell Solomon off, cursing the Goodes for generations to come with *the truth*.

16.When Deena tells her brother that "Goode is evil."

Deena and Josh hide in the woods

We're living for the play on words! It's too GOODE of a pun, and it just becomes one of those lines that really sticks, you know?

17.When Josh recites to Deena the Konami Code, the universal code for extra lives, before they face off with the Shadyside Killers.

Deena and Josh hugging each other

When Josh tells Deena about the code, she says that he’s the biggest nerd as they hug, to which he replies that she smells like an androgynous baby. (Side note/'90s deep cut: Deena doused herself in CK One to cover up her scent.) Josh and Deena just have the sweetest and funniest sibling relationship.

18.When Ziggy tells Nick, “Tag, you’re it.”

Nick getting covered in paint and blood

The gang lures Nick and the Shadyside Killers into the mall to end the curse once and for all. Remembering the one time they tormented Sheila at Camp Nightwing, Ziggy decides to “Carrie” him and dumps a bunch of paint mixed with Deena’s blood onto him.

19.When Deena stabs Nick in the eye and kills him.

Nick is dead

Well, it seems like it’s really Sarah working through Deena to kill Nick, but the point stands that it’s so satisfying to see someone put an end to Nick after his family has insidiously wreaked havoc on Shadyside. Plus, it’s cool to see the Shadyside Killers dust out Thanos style too.

20.When Deena and Sam kiss in the woods at the end.

Sam and Deena kiss

Thank you, Fear Street, for giving us a moment of sweet teenage shenanigans after roughly six hours of murder. Deena and Sam experience some pretty rough challenges, but this cute couple makes it out alive and gets their uninterrupted kiss.

21.The credits scene.

Hand on Solomon Goode's book

Perhaps taking a cue from the MCU, Fear Street Part Three: 1666 features a cliff-hanger credits scene with a mysterious hand swiping Solomon Goode’s spell book from the crime scene. The suspense is killing us — could it be Will Goode? Deena? Ziggy? The Fear Street Cinematic Universe won’t leave us hanging, right?
