Celebrity Couples Who Stayed Together After Cheating Scandals
Everyone has a different attitude when it comes to cheating. For some, it’s a dealbreaker, no further questions asked. For others, circumstance is everything. At the end of the day, the only people who know what’s going on in a relationship are the people in it — but that hasn’t made us any less curious about A-list cheating scandals over the years.
Many of our favorite couples have gone through rumors of infidelity (or confirmed infidelity) and come out the other side unscathed, often saying it’s made their partnership stronger. From Beyoncé and Jay-Z to Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, many celebrity couples have survived cheating scandals, and their comments to the public have given insight into how they found their way back.
In 2024, Goldie Hawn’s son Oliver Hudson opened up about his experience with infidelity, revealing that he and his wife managed to repair their relationship after he cheated on her before their 2006 wedding. But Hudson and Erinn Bartlett aren’t the only celebrity couple to survive cheating!
Talking to David Letterman in 2018, Jay-Z opened up about the work he and Beyoncé put into fixing their marriage after his infidelity. “I have a beautiful wife who was understanding and who knew I’m not the worst of what I’ve done,” he said. “We did the hard work of going to therapy. We love each other, so we really put in the work for years.”
We’re always in favor of couples doing this kind of hard work confronting their problems and upping their communication skills — a lesson any couple could learn from.

Travis Scott & Kylie Jenner
In October 2022, rumors began swirling that Travis Scott was cheating on his girlfriend and baby mama Kylie Jenner. On social media, the rapper denied the allegations, made by model Rojean Kar. “I’m saying this for the last time: I don’t know this person,” he wrote, per Us Weekly. “I’ve never been with this person. So, please stop with the continuous cyber games and the fictional storytelling.”
Despite not calling it quits at the time, Jenner and Scott went their separate ways in June 2023.
Josh Duhamel & Fergie
A few months into their relationship, Josh Duhamel was accused of cheating on his wife Fergie with stripper Nicole Forrester. At the time, Duhamel denied all the allegations.
“When you go through difficult times, it really makes you stronger as a unit, as a partnership. It does for us, anyways. Our love today is a deeper love, definitely,” the Black Eyed Peas singer said in 2017 about the rocky time, per Us Weekly. “We’re stronger today definitely because of anything difficult that’s happened with us. We deal with it, we communicate; communicating’s the most important thing.”
The pair broke up for good in 2019.
Erinn Bartlett & Oliver Hudson
During an April 2024 episode of his Sibling Revelry podcast, actor Oliver Hudson admitted that he cheated on his now-wife, Rumor Has It star Erinn Bartlett shortly before their 2006 wedding.
“When I got engaged, something happened psychologically, and I spiraled, and I was unfaithful, and I was cheating, and I was crazy,” he told guest Robyn Lively. “I told her everything because I couldn’t live with myself and get married and be married and have children with this sort of weight.”
The Rules of Engagement star, who went on to welcome three children with Bartlett, says he has tried to not live with regret over the infidelity.
“I’m not sure I have many regrets because if I didn’t, it was a choice that I made, whether it was a positive one or a negative one. Which I’ve made some horrible, horrible choices in my life just generally,” Hudson said. “You would think I regret doing that, but I don’t know where or who I would be if I didn’t make that choice.”
Sebastian Lletget & Becky G
Singer Becky G and her soccer star fiancé Sebastian Lletget are back together despite calling off their engagement in March 2023 after Lletget seemingly admitted to cheating on Becky, who he had been with since 2016.
“Over the last few weeks, during a moment I regret deeply, a 10-minute lapse in judgment resulted in an extortion plot,” the soccer player wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. He shared the upload not long after an Instagram user claimed to have video, audio, and text proof that Lletget had been unfaithful to Becky G (full name Becky Gomez) with another woman at a Madrid club in 2022.”
Cheating aside, the two reconciled in December and have been spotted out together ever since.
Ned & Ariel Fulmer
After his on-set affair hit the news cycle in 2022, everyone was waiting for the divorce papers from Ariel Fulmer and Ned Fulmer. After being kicked out of the Try Guys and being under the radar, people were shocked to see Ned and his wife Ariel still together, and having the time of their lives together at Taylor Swift’s Eras tour on Aug. 8, 2023, per Entertainment Tonight.
Ned and Ariel share kids Wes, born in 2018, and Finn, born in 2020.
Patrick Carney & Michelle Branch
Back in the summer of 2022, Michelle Branch accused her husband, Patrick Carney, of cheating on her while he was out on tour, and she took care of their newborn. She was later arrested for slapping him during a fight, and the pair filed for divorce. However, a month later, they withdrew their petition to divorce under the guise of trying to mend their relationship for the following few months. As of 2024, they are officially reconciled.
Offset & Cardi B
Migos member Offset has faced many cheating allegations throughout his relationship with Cardi B, including in 2017 and again the following year. However, despite several splits, the couple kept reconciling and shared two children together Kulture, born in 2018, and Wave, born in 2021.
In August of 2024, however, the “WAP” singer called it quits and filed for divorce a second time from the rapper.
“It’s been a long time coming,” an insider told People. “It’s not just one issue. She’s matured a lot. She knows exactly what she wants her life to look like. She’s super focused on her kids and work.”
A day later, Cardi announced she was pregnant with her third child. “With every ending comes a new beginning!” she wrote on Instagram. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!”
Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo
After Instagram model Sumner Stroh alleged that she had an affair with lead singer of Maroon 5 Adam Levine on Sept. 19, 2022, four other women stepped forward and claimed that they had relations and/or uncomfortable and sexually charged interactions with Levine.
Despite the onslaught of accusations, Levine and his wife, former Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, decided to stay together and focus on “being the best parents” and are weathering the storm.
The couple, who got married in July 2014, share daughters Dusty Rose, born in 2016, and Gio Grace, born in 2018, and their son, born in 2023.
Dominic West & Catherine Fitzgerald
Back in 2020, Dominic West was the subject of some pretty intense scrutiny after photos of The Wire alum with co-star Lily James surfaced. The paparazzi pictures seemed to capture the two actors engaging in some PDA, and once the photos were out in the world, West and his wife Catherine Fitzgerald staged a photo opp to prove their marriage was still intact.
“I just want to say our marriage is strong and we are very much still together,” West shared with members of the media. The couple also shared a signed statement saying much the same.
Jana Kramer & Mike Caussin
During their nearly six-year marriage, Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin dealt with a lot of private matters in the public eye. The two initially separated not long after welcoming their first child together in 2016, after rumors swirled that Caussin cheated on Kramer. The couple eventually reconciled and got back together.
Kramer was incredibly transparent about the couple’s struggles, including Caussin’s sex addiction, therapy, and relapse. By 2021, however, the couple finally called it quits.
Khloé Kardashian & Tristan Thompson
Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson has a long history of cheating scandals with Khloé Kardashian, first breaking the couple up in 2018 just a few days after the birth of their daughter True when it came out that Thompson had been unfaithful. The pair reconciled but split again in 2019 following an incident between Thompson and close Kylie Jenner friend Jordyn Woods.
The couple reunited in spring 2021 and went on to welcome a second baby together via surrogate. However, before the baby boy was born, news broke that Thompson had fathered another child during an affair. He and Kardashian promptly split for a final time.
“For my kids, I’ll put anything to the side,” Kardashian said in an episode of her show, The Kardashians, per Entertainment Tonight. “What’s done is done, so what would I still be holding onto something for? I don’t need to punish him because I’m not getting back with him.”
Scottie & Larsa Pippen
In 2016, rumors swirled that Larsa Pippen was being unfaithful to her husband Scottie Pippen with rapper Future, and Scottie filing for divorce after a week in which the police were called to their home twice for domestic disturbances seemed to confirm those claims.
Soon, however, the couple was able to reconcile and gave their 20-year marriage another shot. Larsa went on to file for divorce two years later in 2018, this time for good.
Jax Taylor & Brittany Cartwright
Vanderpump Rules stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have their cheating scandal documented better than most, since it takes place — the confrontations over it, anyway — on the show that made them famous. Brittany’s declaration of “rawt in hell” after evidence of Jax’s infidelity with co-star Faith Stowers came out became infamous, and fans were beyond hesitant as the couple slowly worked to reconcile.
After reuniting in the wake of Jax’s father’s death, Cartwright has consistently said she’s seen a change in his behavior, marrying him in 2019 and welcoming a baby son together in 2021: Cruz Michael Cauchi.
The couple went on to separate in 2024.
Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne
Ozzy Osbourne was notorious for his infidelity, ultimately going to rehab for sex addiction in 2016. “He had women in different countries,” Sharon Osbourne told People. “Basically, if you’re a woman giving Ozzy either a back rub or a trolley of food, God help you.”
The couple renewed their vows in 2016, after his stint in rehab, and have been together ever since.
Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith
In 2020, Jada Pinkett Smith came clean about an “entanglement” she’d had with musician August Alsina during a period of separation in her marriage to Will Smith on an episode of Red Table Talk, after previously denying Alsina’s reports of their relationship. In an honest conversation featuring both spouses, Will and Jada talked about how that relationship came to be and how their own relationship had changed in its wake.
However, in 2023, Jada revealed that the couple had been secretly separated since before the “entanglement” but had no plans to divorce.
David Letterman & Regina Lasko
In 2009, David Letterman admitted to cheating on his wife Regina Lasko with several women who worked on his show while live on air. He had been blackmailed and asked for $2 million not to reveal evidence but chose to confess instead. The couple is still together today.
Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott came clean about his 2013 infidelity on their reality show, True Tori. In the confessional, they admitted it had been rough for them to regain their trust. McDermott then went to rehab, and the couple had committed themselves to opening a new chapter at the time.
However, in March 2024, Spelling filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The pair is now sharing custody of their five children — Liam, born in 2007, Stella, born in 2008, Hattie, born in 2011, Finn, born in 2012, and Beau, born in 2017.
Kevin Hart & Eniko Harris
When Eniko Harris found out Kevin Hart had been cheating on her, she was pregnant with their son Kenzo and looking at an Instagram DM from a stranger. Ultimately, it was the pregnancy that convinced her to stick it out and repair the relationship.
“I think that’s the only thing that really got me through,” she said in the couple’s 2019 docuseries. “I wasn’t ready at the time to just give up on my family. I wanted Kenzo to be able to know his dad and grow up.”
The two have stayed strong ever since.
Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade
Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade took a break from their relationship briefly before getting engaged in 2013. During that time, Wade impregnated Aja Metoyer, who had his son Xavier in 2013. Wade says it was one of the scariest conversations he ever had, but their family is better than ever today.
In 2012, Union and Wade tied the knot. In 2018, they welcomed their first daughter Kaavia together.
Jude Law & Sienna Miller
Has any couple weathered more cheating scandals than Jude Law and Sienna Miller? First, Law was reportedly having an affair with his children’s nanny. Then, Miller admitted to cheating on Law with co-star Daniel Craig. The couple was off and on for the better part of the 2000s, but split ways for good in 2011.
Kate Middleton & Prince William
In April 2019, a rumor started circulating that Prince William had cheated on Kate Middleton with family Rose Hanbury while Kate was pregnant with their third child Prince Louis. The family has denied these rumors, but there were whispers about their marriage well through the years.
Donald Trump Jr. & Vanessa Trump
Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump were married for 12 years until Vanessa filed for divorce in 2018. According to sources for Page Six, however, their relationship since 2011 when Trump Jr. had an affair with Celebrity Apprentice contestant Aubrey O’Day.
“It was him who chased her,” a source told the outlet. “He told her that his marriage was already in the process of dissolving.”
Beyoncé & Jay-Z
The world first suspected that Jay-Z cheated on Beyoncé when a clip was released of her sister Solange attacking him in an elevator in 2014.
Two years later, in 2016, Beyoncé’s album Lemonade all but confirmed the infidelity in its lyrics. “He only want me when I’m not there/He better call Becky with the good hair,” she sings.
Later on, Jay-Z finally addressed it head-on in a 2017 interview with the New York Times. “So, even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can’t connect,” he said. “In my case, like, it’s deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity.”
Despite the cheating, the music power couple has stayed together throughout.
Donald Trump & Melania Trump
Former President Donald Trump has weathered many allegations of infidelity throughout his life, most notably from porn star Stormy Daniels, who says she was given $130,000 in hush money from his former lawyer Michael Cohen before the 2016 election.
In August 2018, Cohen was sentenced to three years in federal prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion and breaking campaign finance rules, in part related to his payment to Daniels and another alleged Trump lover.
Despite all the legal chaos, the former president and his wife Melania have continued to be married.
David Beckham & Victoria Beckham
In 2004, rumors began that David Beckham was having an affair with his assistant, Rebecca Loos. While David vehemently denied it, the British tabloids had a field day, publishing additional accounts from beautician Danielle Heath and Sarah Marbeck alleging affairs with David.
David and Victoria ultimately sued multiple publications (and their nanny), and Victoria stood by David’s side — but they’ve faced more allegations over the years.
Evan & Staci Felker
Evan Felker of the Turnpike Troubadours divorced his wife of two years in 2018 amid his addiction issues and allegations that he had cheated with fellow country music star Miranda Lambert.
However, in 2020, the couple remarried and have since welcomed two children.
Woody Harrelson & Laura Louie
In 2002, Woody Harrelson had a foursome with three women who were not wife Laura Louie. When one of the women turned out to be a paparazzo, Louie found out — and had a shockingly compassionate response.
“Laura — this really gives you a sense of the depth of her compassion — what she said to me after finding out was, ‘That must be really hard for you, to have this s— exposed,'” Harrelson told The Hollywood Reporter. “She just said that. Now that doesn’t mean she wasn’t upset. How did I apologize? You know, just your standard Texan grovel. But she forgave me, and we’re still together.”
Sarah Jessica Parker & Matthew Broderick
In 2008, rumors flew that Matthew Broderick was having an affair with a mysterious redhead while Sarah Jessica Parker was off shooting various projects. In 2014, further rumors came out about Broderick with multiple women, including Sarah Symonds. Parker has defended her husband throughout.
Pink & Carey Hart
Pink and Carey Hart have an infamously off-and-on relationship, but they nearly split ways for good after rumors of Hart cheating in 2008. Today, they’re stronger than ever and raising two kids Willow, born in 2011 and James, born in 2016, together.
Vanessa & Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant admitted to being unfaithful to his wife Vanessa in 2003 with a 19-year-old hotel clerk, who later claimed Bryant had raped her. Vanessa filed for divorce, but the couple reconciled shortly thereafter and remained happily married until Kobe passed away.

In one of the most famous acts of infidelity in American history, Bill Clinton had an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Clinton was impeached for lying to cover up the affair, but Hillary has stood by his side all these years.

Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith’s relationship began as a cheating scandal, with rumors that Banderas was cheating on first wife Ana Leza with Griffith. As their relationship progressed, more cheating rumors swirled around Banderas in 2012, and Griffith threatened divorce — but they reconciled (until their ultimate 2014 split).
