The national chain franchise is the first of its kind on the Treasure Coast. The restaurant is known for its chef-inspired, nutritionist-approved menu. Pizzeria opens sixth Treasure Coast location

The owner — a native of Brooklyn, New York — has rapidly expanded his local pizza chain since opening the original Jensen Beach location in 2019. The pizzeria offers authentic Italian dishes from manicotti and stuffed shells to calzones, stromboli and handcrafted pizza pies — plus slice pizza.

Menu combines BBQ and Florida local seafood

The owner-operators have been working on their concept of smoked fish and smoked barbecue meats for years. They make their own sauces, spices and fish dip with mahi, swordfish and salmon. Their award-winning burger and barbecue pork sandwich have been the most popular items since opening.

Seafood restaurant known for catfish closes

The restaurant was revered for its Lake Okeechobee bone-in "little ones." The owners retired and closed June 24. Another popular restaurant is moving into the building, which has been a seafood restaurant for 70 years. The original owner ran it for over 30 years, the next one for over 10 years, and the last ones for over 25 years.
