Hello! It's fun to look at dresses, so here are 32 TV and movie wedding dressed ranked by how much I would refuse to put them on my human body that I definitely have because I am not a robot.

1.Grace's dress from Ready or Not.
If the bodice were slightly higher, it would be completely perfect.
I adore this dress with all of my heart, folks. I think about it.
It goes with any kind of wedding.
2.Katniss's sneaky wedding dress from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
When I'd forgotten this turned into the Mockingjay dress, I didn't appreciate it because I thought it had too much going on while also being kind of predictably boring.
Two gowns in one, via flames? An undeniable winner.
"I do." *Turns*. "I do as well."
3.Cece's second wedding dress on New Girl.
Not including the veil – which is lovely but unrelated to this discussion.
The silhouette, the neckline, the white with gold overlay, the simplicity. There's nothing I don't like.
I want to wear this exemplary dress, please, and not even simply as a wedding dress. I'll wear it to AMC theaters.
4.Nell's wedding dress on The Haunting of Hill House.
I'd sell a lot of my clothes for this.
In general, when it comes to wedding dresses, I either want a skirt that twirls when you dance, or I want elegant boho. This is the epitome of the latter.
What a back!
5.Zooey's simple stunner in I Love You, Man.
Though normally I don't enjoy bows and belts on wedding dresses, the casual, calm confidence here makes the belt/bow work for me.
It's like the outfit doesn't give a shit about the wedding but definitely gives a shit about the marriage, which I find stellar.
The strap width is solid, too.
6.Cinderella's wedding dress in – you guessed it – Cinderella.
If you prefer your wedding dresses ornate, I understand why this one might be a hard pass, but I think it's great it.
It's so pretty and easy-breezy while still having a big, dance-y skirt.
The dress rocks. (Do people actually say "rocks"?)
7.Rachel's wedding dress on Suits.
I am not a Suits watcher. I know about this dress because (obviously) Meghan Markle played Rachel, and I think every picture of Meghan Markle ever has been in the news at least once.
This skirt is magnificent.
The only reason this dress isn't even higher on my list is the tiny mesh thing on the neckline. Those are not for me.
8.Bella's dress in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1.
She's, what, 18, and she's marrying an old, old vampire man, but cast that aside and the dress is exquisite!
The back is fancy in such a fun way and the front is unique without being too much.
The dress is a bit more simply regal than my ideal, but it's beautiful.
9.Monica's original wedding dress on Friends.
It's one of the few sparkly wedding dresses I enjoy.
Child me adored this dress so hard — like, so hard. Even though I love it a lot less now as an adult (definite no to the flower on the back), I can't separate from my childhood feelings of adoration.
Monica's first wedding dress and I have been through too much together.
10.Jess's wedding dress on New Girl.
The final product isn't an A+, but I LOVE the idea.
Short wedding dresses are great.
If I knew anything about making clothes and/or magic, I would buy this dress and make the sleeves longer. Don't tell me if that's not possible. I don't want to know.
11.Maria's very elegant dress from The Sound of Music.
This is a fully-formed vibe.
It's simple, traditionally classy, and cool. If only I could say the same about me.
The collar is too high in my opinion, but that's okay.
12.Lillian's dress in Bridesmaids.
Hear me out.
The whole point of this gown is that it's terrible, so it's a compliment to the Bridesmaids costume designer to say that the only non-ransom context in which I would wear this dress to my actual wedding is if it were a joke – which I would 100% do.
I'd have a hard time convincing myself that the right move isn't wearing a gross dress for the lols.
13.Sophie's wedding dress from Mamma Mia!
How very Free People.
I really like the feeling it's going for, but the execution is leaning toward bad.
There's too much fabric happening, but I could find a way to make it work.
14.Hilary's dress on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
If you take away the fact that this dress is too outwardly confident for my liking, It's kind of perfect.
Any clothing that masterfully straddles the line between over-the-top and classy is a win in my book, but this is one I simply couldn't pull off.
I wish I could.
15.Tahani's dress at her and Jason's wedding on The Good Place.
In general, I prefer a dress without a lot of fixings, and this is perfect in that regard, however, it's kind of boring.
A delightful wedding dress that falls into the background isn't a horrible choice, but it's not the best choice.
Part of me likes that it's a tad boring — for sure too boring for Tahani — because the day isn't about the dress, but I wouldn't jump at the chance to wear this.
16.Margaret's dress from The Proposal.
A bold choice!
The fabric and color are wonderful, and I really like wedding dresses with long sleeves, but, look, the chest part makes this look like what the ghost who's haunting you is wearing.
The old-timey-ness is a big plus for me, though.
17.Araminta's gold wedding dress in Crazy Rich Asians.
So beautiful for someone else.
It's the kind of dress a secret agent would wear, but I am far from a secret agent.
Ruffles and that transparent mesh stuff on a bodice aren't my cup of tea.
18.Cristina's dress at her and Owen's wedding on Grey's Anatomy.
It's cool and pretty, but it's a no.
I'm all for a more casual type of wedding dress, but I need it to have some pizazz that doesn't scream "dinner party."
The ankle-level length is annoying me for some reason.
19.Cinderella's fairy tale-y dress in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella.
There are things I'm not a fan of here – those sleeve things and the sparkles on the top, for example – but it's so impressively Cinderella, so cookie-cutter Disney magical.
It's something I would potentially wear at a super chill, no big deal wedding, because then it's, like, making fun of weddings in a fun way.
That's the only situation I'd wear it in.
20.The dress Olivia wears in an alternate universe on Scandal.
I wish the fabric on the top were different and I wish the sparkly belt had been exiled.
It's a version I don't love of a style I love, so I don't know why I'd wear it.
But it's a nice dress.
21.Veronica's dress in that Riverdale dream sequence.
The grown is weird, according to me, the God of Fashion.
I'm not sure what my problem is exactly, but it all feels a bit gauche-trying-to-be-elegant. The flowers are pretty, though.
In addition, there are too many different neck things going on. The necklace needs to leave.
22.This dress from Runaway Bride.
I don't understand the fabric situation on the bottom.
It's as if this was originally two different dresses, and the top isn't sufficiently beautiful to make up for it.
But I like the silhouette a whole lot.
23.Pam's dress on The Office.
Though I don't enjoy a mini strap on a wedding dress, this is an eh with some positivity because I like the kind-of-flow-y mood of it.
It's definitely not awful, but I wouldn't wear it.
I'd never remember it if I saw it in real life.
24.Tamra's dress on The Mindy Project.
Now we're getting into the firm nos.
I'm angry that a top this lovely is forced to live with a bottom this icky.
Seriously, I think the top is fantastic, but the abrupt, mid-leg skirt transition is one of the worst things on this entire list, in my opinion.
25.Jane's wedding dress at the end of 27 Dresses.
The combination of the fabric and the neckline makes me unhappy.
I'd rather wear something I like parts of than something I casually dislike entirely. I'd rather wear a worse dress that's going for something than a dress that's dull.
My apologies if you love this gown.
26.Mia's dress in The Best Man.
I don't know what to do with this.
The best part is the sheer sleeves, but other than that, I feel so little about this that it circles back around to being bad.
Plus, let's veto the flowers on the back.
27.Ariel's wedding dress in The Little Mermaid.
Sleeves! Sleeves! Sleeves!
The sleeves are nothing short of ooooooof, but despite how noteworthy they are in a negative way, the dress, all together, is pretty much a nothing.
Somehow, miraculously, this is forgettable.
28.Lisa's wedding dress on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Nope. Nah. No, thank you.
The fabric and the back limit this from even attempting to approach awesome.
I want to like it.
29.Amy's dress on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
I don't mean any offense to anybody who owns this dress, but, to me, it's so freaking bad.
I am unable to understand the appeal of it.
The only thing I really like about Amy's dress is that Gina was originally going to wear it, to Amy and Jake's wedding. LOL.
30.Juliet's quite strange wedding dress in Love Actually.
Why is it kind of a cape? Why is there feather-y stuff at the top?
The back is lovely, but good god do I detest the front.
What are we doing here? What is this?
31.Callie's wedding dress on Grey's Anatomy.
The bottom and the sleeves – holy crap, the sleeves – are momumental issues.
I would run from this dress.
If I were in a wedding dress shop and my friend were like, "Hey, what about this one?" I would be like, "Do you know me at all, Taylor Swift?" (I'm assuming she's my friend in this alternate universe.)
32.And finally, the dress I would refuse to wear the most: Diane's outfit at her and Frasier's imaginary wedding on Cheers.
Technically it's not a wedding "dress", but how could I not include it?
Please never ever make me put this on my body.
I understand it was 1985 (and it's Diane Chambers), but oh my goodness.
