Take a look at Hogwarts, the play version.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the two-part play that picks up the story soon after the epilogue in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ends (19 years later), had its first preview performance in London on Tuesday night. J.K. Rowling pleaded with fans to #keepthesecret and not reveal plot details, but the official Cursed Child Twitter account tweeted a picture from inside showing the cast onstage at Hogwarts. This is the first image of the play anyone has seen.
Last week, the production released photos of the castmembers, and the play has not been without controversy. Still, fans are eager for a new Harry Potter story. The play, which officially opens July 30, is sold out through May 2017 and the book adaptation, to be released July 31, is one of Amazon’s three top-selling books of the year so far.
