50 Cent claims he could take Conor McGregor 'in the street'
On Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, a fan brought up the moment during the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor press tour when the MMA fighter took a mini break from trash-talking Mayweather to take a jab at the boxing champ’s BFF — Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent.
Cohen asked 50 Cent, “Conor called you a bitch?” and the rapper shared his initial reaction: “I was like, dude, this fool didn’t know if he was fighting Floyd or me.”
While it may have seemed super dramatic two months ago while the fighters were building up the anticipation, 50 Cent isn’t taking it too seriously now. “I was like, ‘Where did that come from?’— you know? But he was doing his job; he was putting on a show and making sure everybody was paying attention.” And when Cohen asked 50 Cent whether he thought he could take McGregor in a fight, he was quick to declare that he 100 percent believes he could beat him. “In the street? Yeah! C’mon, he weighs 150 pounds, man!”
Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen airs Sunday through Thursday at 11 p.m. on Bravo.
