Miller's Ale House

Miller’s Ale House opened in December at 1775 St. Lucie West Blvd. in the former TGI Fridays. It's the third Treasure Coast location, in addition to Tradition and Jensen Beach, and the second Port St. Lucie location. The first opened in Jupiter in 1988 and has expanded to 114 U.S. locations.

Ichiddo Ramen

Ichiddo Ramen opened its first Florida location in December at 5970 20th St. in Vero Beach, near the corner of State Road 60 and 58th Avenue. Most of the Minnesota-based Japanese ramen noodle restaurants are in the Midwest and West Coast. This location is locally owned and operated.

East Coast Boba Company

East Coast Boba Company is a small boba tea shop that opened Jan. 13 at 1418 16th St. in Vero Beach, near Vero Beach High School’s Citrus Bowl. Boba tea, also known as bubble tea or pearl milk tea, is a beverage that originated in Taiwan.

Ketchup’s Hotdogz

Streetside Market of White City added Ketchup’s Hotdogz, which opened Jan. 9, at 4931 Oleander Ave. in Fort Pierce, near the corner of Midway Road. It added Chimpy’s Coffee in November.

Burger King closes three locations

McDonald's fast-food rival has closed three locations in St. Lucie County. TCPalm doesn't know exactly when the Burger King locations closed or why because the company didn't respond to media requests.
