Hen and Karen Wilson are in for the scariest Halloween of their lives.
In TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek from tonight’s episode of 9-1-1 (ABC, 8/7c), a night of trick-or-treating ends in horror when Denny is violently pinned against a house by a car whose disgruntled driver loses control and swerves off the road.

It begins as a routine call for the 118, just another accident on one of the busiest nights of the year for first responders. But when Chimney spots Mara and Jee-Yun in the crowd of onlookers, everyone begins to put the horrific pieces together. Hen is terrified at the thought of Karen being the victim as she rushes closer to the accident, only to realize the awful truth — that it’s their son whose life now hangs in the balance.
On a much lighter note, the episode’s other main storyline involves Buck’s Halloween decorations becoming “a little scarier than he had hoped,” according to ABC’s official logline. Don’t get us wrong, Buck’s situation definitely takes a few spooky turns, but it’s nothing compared to your child’s life being at stake.
