9 Years Ago Today, Bob Barker Ended His Record-Breaking 35-Year Run on ‘Price Is Right’

On this day 9 years ago, we spun the Big Wheel one final time with Bob Barker. From 1972 to 2007, Barker hosted thousands of episodes of The Price is Right, giving away tens of millions of dollars, and playing hundreds upon hundreds of games of Plinko.

Barker passed the skinny mic torch to Drew Carey, but he’s made a few drop-ins over the years: once for his 90th birthday in which he appeared with an adorable puppy in a birthday sweater, and in 2015, he surprised us all on April Fools’ Day.

So in honor of Bob, here are SuperFan TV’s Favorite Bob Barker moments, including some graceful saves, overenthusiastic female fans, and a peek at the first episode he ever filmed.
