AC/DC’s Brian Johnson Is Starring In A New Documentary Series
While late AC/DC frontman Bon Scott is getting his own biopic, the iconic Aussie rockers’ current lead singer Brian Johnson has just scored a new documentary series.
Johnson is teaming up with guitarist, singer and songwriter Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits for six part doco series entitled Johnson and Knopfler’s Music Legends, which will follow the pair of classic rockers as they talk shop and jam with six other heavy hitters from the music world.

Each music legend on the roster gets an episode apiece, with Johnson and Knopfler delving into the lives and careers of Tom Jones, Sam Fender, Cyndi Lauper, Nile Rodgers, Carlos Santana and Emmylou Harris over the course of the season.
The show is set to air weekly on the UK’s Sky Arts channel from April 25, and will be available to stream internationally via NOW TV.
An official description reads: “Join AC/DC singer, Brian Johnson and Dire Straits singer and guitarist, Mark Knopfler as they share their incredible knowledge and experiences with each other — and a hand-picked selection of music royalty.”
It comes hot on the heels of news AC/DC icon Bon Scott is copping the biopic treatment, with a new movie about to be made right here in Australia. Dubbed The Kid From Harvest Road, the flick is currently in the pre-production, with filming due to start in early 2025.
