ACE Eddie Awards: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users
Congratulations to our User Lunaismine4ever for an excellent score of 80% when predicting the 2024 ACE Eddie Awards winners on Sunday. They are the only User to achieve that high an accuracy score.
More than 800 people worldwide predicted these champs for the ceremony that took place in Los Angeles, California, at UCLA’s Royce Hall. Our top User got eight out of 10 categories correct. The night featured wins by “Oppenheimer” (Best Film Drama Editing), “The Holdovers” (Best Film Comedy Editing) and “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” (Best Film Animation Editing). TV winners included “The Last of Us” (Best TV Drama Editing) and “The Bear” (Best TV Single-Camera Comedy Editing).

You can see how your score compares to all others in our leaderboard rankings of all contestants, which also includes links to see each participant’s predictions. For our 11 Gold Derby Editors predicting, Denton Davidson has the best score of 70%. Charles Bright, Matt Noble and Ray Richmond are then tied at 60.00%. Achieving 50% accuracy is Chris Beachum. Tied at 40% are Rob Licuria, Christopher Rosen, Paul Sheehan and myself. And scoring 30% are Marcus James Dixon and Joyce Eng. See Editors’ scores.
Beyond Eng, Richmond and Rosen, we had six other Experts predicting. Tied at 60% are Clayton Davis (Variety), Tariq Khan (Gold Derby), Matt Neglia (Next Best Picture) and Sasha Stone (Awards Daily). Susan King (Gold Derby) is next, scoring 40%. Jazz Tangcay (Variety) only predicted eight of the 10 categories and scores 37.50%. See Experts’ scores.
