Set during the final days of the High Republic era, the mystery thriller centered on a former Padawan (played by Amandla Stenberg) who reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes and then discovers the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.
Season 1 ended with Osha killing her former master Sol via Force choke and then bleeding her kyber crystal to change her lightsaber from blue to mostly red — a sliver of blue remaining at the top. Her twin sister Mae then agreed to have her mind wiped before being taken into Jedi custody, while Osha set out to train with The Stranger.
The series starred Stenberg in dual roles as Mae and Osha, Manny Jacinto as The Stranger, Lee Jung-jae Mae as Master Sol and Rebecca Henderson as Mirialan Jedi Vernestra Rwoh.
Additional cast included Carrie-Anne Moss as Master Indara, Dafne Keen as the half-Theelin/half-human Jedi Jecki, Jodie Turner-Smith as Mother Aniseya, Charlie Barnett as the Jedi Knight Yord Fandar, Dean-Charles Chapman as Master Torbin and Joonas Suotamo as the Wookiee Jedi named Kelnacca.
