Adam Sandler Appears to Confirm Role for 'Stud' Travis Kelce in Highly Anticipated 'Happy Gilmore' Sequel
Adam Sandler just made fans of Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce quite happy, as he seemed to confirm that the football star would have a role in his upcoming movie, the Happy Gilmore sequel.
While talking with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Sandler revealed the exciting news, saying, "This is happening...We start [filming] in a couple of weeks."
Fallon asked if he could tease anything else, with Sandler proclaiming, "It's good. We worked hard on the script. We didn't want to let anyone down." The host then went on to say that Sandler mentioned cameos in the film before asking, "Do you know Travis Kelce really wants to be a part of this?"
Sandler shared that he knew before saying, "We have a nice something for Travis," seeming to confirm a cameo of some sort for the Chiefs player.
Going even further, the Just Go With It actor raved about Kelce, telling the audience, "He's cool, very nice guy. You would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy...He's a stud and he's so funny."
Fans were very excited about the news that a sequel to Happy Gilmore was officially on its way, with comments like, "Omg!!! This will be A HUGE win win for Happy Gilmore 2!! Adam always puts his heart and soul into every project!! Can’t wait to see what he comes up with for this next sequel!!"

Sandler noted that Happy Gilmore 2 is set to start filming soon in New Jersey, but there is no word yet on an official release date.
