Adele Models Dior Moiré in Navy Gown with Floor-length Train for Opening Night of Munich Residency
Dior outfitted Adele for the opening night of her new residency in Munich on Friday. The singer sported a belted navy boatneck gown crafted from moiré fabric.
Featuring a floor-length train with powder pink lining, even a wardrobe malfunction couldn’t stop the Grammy-winning artist. After a rainstorm befell the concert’s outdoor venue, Adele was forced to remove her floor-length cape.

“I got a weather update so it said it wasn’t going to be raining in time for the show, so I thought let me wear this dress with this enormous train on it like a right fanny,” she joked.
Adele accessorized her gown with a pair of diamond hoop earrings. The singer was styled by Jamie Mizrahi, who also counts Jeremy Allen White, Jennifer Lawrence and Cara Delevingne as clients.
Wearing her dirty blond tresses in Old Hollywood waves, Adele’s makeup consisted of sparkly eyeshadow and winged eyeliner.

Moiré fabric is characterized by its wavy pattern. Creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri introduced several designs featuring the silk textile as part of Dior’s spring 2024 couture collection, which debuted in January.
Adele in Munich takes place through Aug. 31 at Messe München. The concert series marks her second residency following Weekends with Adele in Las Vegas. Held at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, it lasted from 2022 to 2024.
