Adele is taking a break from music after she wraps up her Las Vegas residency later this year.
Over the weekend, the “Hello” singer made the big announcement in Germany during her final show in Munich.

“I’ve really enjoyed performing, for nearly three years now, which is the longest I’ve done and probably the longest I’ll ever do. I have 10 shows left after this, back in my (Las Vegas) residency,” she told the crowd. “But after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time and I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole next of my break.”
A video of the announcement was captured by a fan and posted to TikTok.
“I will fantasize about these shows and any shows that I’ve done over the last 3 years and I really, really hold them in the bottom of my heart forever. It has been amazing. I just need a rest,” she confessed.

“I have spent the last seven years building a life for myself and I want to live it, I want to live my life, I’ve been building,” she emotionally explained with her voice cracking.
The 16-time Grammy winner told her fans she will “miss them terribly” and that she will remember these shows “for eternity” because they’ve been “spectacular” as fans have braved the elements to show up for their favorite songstress.
The Weekends with Adele residency wraps up in Sin City on Nov. 23.
