Hahn reprises her WandaVision role as Agatha, who finds herself without her powers after a teen breaks her from a spell and urges her to attempt a dangerous gauntlet of trials known as Witches’ Road.
“I miss the glory days,” Hahn says in the trailer. “She took every bit of power I had, and I can be that witch again.”
A later moment shows Hahn needing to stand up for herself with a little snark. “What witch in her right mind would join Agatha Harkness’ coven?” LuPone asks in the footage. This leads Hahn to reply, “Not looking for right-minded witches, as it happens.”
Schaeffer, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum and Mary Livanos serve as executive producers on the series. Directors for Agatha All Along include Schaeffer, Rachel Goldberg and Gandja Montiero.
Disney revealed the series title and premiere date during its upfront presentation in May.
Hahn’s recent credits include the Hulu series Tiny Beautiful Things, for which she received her third career Emmy nomination.
At the time of her Emmy nomination last year, the actress told The Hollywood Reporter that shortly after filming Tiny Beautiful Things, she then “went right into Agatha [All Along]. It was an awesome experience, but it meant a lot of time out of town, so I’m just excited to be home for a while.”
