AFM organizers at the Independent Film & Television Alliance also announced Wednesday they have sold out the exhibition space in the Palms for their first Vegas show with 286 sales, production, and distribution companies, along with international trade organizations, film commissions, and national umbrella stands from 34 countries.

The 45th annual film bazaar setting up in Vegas follows film buyers and sellers leaving behind Los Angeles and the longtime headquarters at The Loews in Santa Monica. AFM’s 2023 get-together took place at the Le Meridien Delfina in Santa Monica. The new Palms Casino venue for the 2024 edition offers exhibitor office space, a 14 screen multiplex and a 170,000 square foot conference, meeting and event space.

Exhibitors headed to Vegas include A24, HanWay Films, XYZ Films, WME Independent, Altitude Film Sales, Arclight Films, Neon, Bankside Films, StudioCanal, Beta Cinema, FilmNation, Black Bear, Capstone Global and Gaumont.

On the industry side, AFM also plans sessions on developing local film projects for global sales, producing and financing social impact films, indie film financing in a shifting landscape and casting low budget indies.
