Airbnb is bringing the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice character’s mourning veil-shrouded manse to life in the Wild River-esque township of Hillsborough, New Jersey, as part of the home-sharing platform’s Icons program. Movie fans can book one of 10 three-hour immersive experiences for up to six guests each starting today at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET on Airbnb.com.

Spoiler alert: Delia (played by Catherine O’Hara) passes through the Afterlife in the sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 film. However, the dramatic artist has returned in spirit to invite movie fans to her two-story home, which she says is an “extension of her NYC art exhibit, ‘The Human Canvas.'” After being greeted by Delia’s longtime assistant, ghost hunters are free to explore the two-story abode, including the attic that was once home to newly dead couple Adam and Barbara Maitland.
Guests are encouraged to follow the mysterious green glow that leads to the not-so-secret portal to the Afterlife. If you survive your otherworldly adventure, you and your fellow guests can take part in an “unforgettable art class where you’ll unleash your collective fears.” The hands-on class will take place in Delia’s living room, where you can even re-create her daughter, Lydia’s, spirit-powered staircase dance. (Don’t forget to play Harry Belafonte’s 1961 calypso, “Jump in the Line.”)
Visitors can also admire Delia’s works of art inside and outside her home, including the iconic nine-fingered sculpture that once trapped its creator. (Sadly, the original was stolen from the Beetlejuice 2 set in Vermont last year.)
Per Airbnb, “spiritual difficulties” prevent Delia’s guests from staying the night, but a nearby property scouted by her assistant will serve as the final resting spot for the evening. (“I’ve spared no expense,” notes Delia of the alternate accommodations.)
The Airbnb experience follows the Warner Bros. Discovery film’s “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice: The Afterlife Experience” pop-up that held court at the Ovation Hollywood shopping center earlier this month.
Booking requests are open through Nov. 4 until 11:59 p.m. PT; learn more at Airbnb’s listing page here and shop some of the best Beetlejuice movie merch here.
