Al Roker Praised as ‘Best Dad’ for Sweet Gesture to Son Nick
Fans are calling Al Roker the “best dad” after the Today show co-host shared the sweet gesture he made for his son.
Roker, 69, often shares inside looks at his family life on social media, a tendency that fans have come to love. He has also come to be known among fans for the delicious meals he makes and enjoys with his wife, ABC News journalist Deborah Roberts, and his three children. On Thursday, June 27, the meteorologist combined those two fan-loved traditions as he revealed the special treat he had made for his son Nick, 21.
A kitchen photo that Roker posted on Instagram showed a bagel breakfast sandwich stuffed with bacon, eggs and melted cheese. The toasted bagel was placed on a green and white plate that featured a label from Ralph Lauren’s New York City restaurant, The Polo Bar.
“Breakfast for my boy, Nick,” Roker wrote to caption the image.
Fans were quick to praise Roker for the loving gesture as they celebrated the father-son duo’s close relationship.
“Best dad! Best son! Such a good cook and breakfast cook!” one fan wrote.
“Al , you are the best Dad to your son????????,” another fan agreed.
“You’re an amazing Dad, Al ??????,” one Instagram user wrote as another echoed the comment, writing, “You really are a great dad and human!”
