Alec Baldwin debuts a new presidential impersonation: George Trumpington

Alec Baldwin debuted a new presidential impersonation today, and it’s an awful lot like his last one.

To promote the upcoming Spike TV special One Night Only: Alec Baldwin, a star-studded celebration of the actor’s career, Baldwin dons a wig and a frock coat to impersonate George Washington. The twist? Baldwin gives the first president some very Donald Trump-ian qualities.

“It’s me, George Washington — the guy who made America great the first time,” crows Baldwin’s Trumpington. “I grabbed so much freedom from those British losers!”

The founding father then goes on to brag about his French-kissing skills. Check out the full video above to see more of Baldwin’s very presidential behavior.

In addition to the man of the hour, One Night Only will feature the likes of Robert De Niro, Julianna Moore, Tracy Morgan, Horatio Sanz, and taped appearances from the likes of Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon (not to mention multiple members of the ever-present Baldwin clan). The special airs Sunday, July 9, at 9 p.m on Spike TV.
