Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Her Daddy’ Podcast Expands Beyond Spotify To Apple, Other Audio Platforms
Call Her Daddy, Alex Cooper’s podcast about relationships, sex and more, has long been one of Spotify’s most popular offerings. It ranked No. 2 on the service’s end-of-year Top Podcasts list in 2023, behind only Joe Rogan. And now the show is set to reach an even wider audience.
Starting with today’s episode, Call Her Daddy, which has been airing exclusively on Spotify since July 2021, will also be available on platforms such as Apple Podcasts. CHD’s back catalog audio is also now available on a wide range of platforms. Video of the show (see today’s teaser below) remains exclusive to Spotify.
More from Deadline
Hailed by Time Magazine as “arguably the most successful woman in podcasting,” CHD now sees millions of listeners per episode, making Cooper one of the most listened-to female podcasters in the world.
The show is key to Spotify’s strategy, with CEO Daniel Ek touting its engagement of younger women on an earnings call last year.
Last year, Deadline broke the news that Cooper had launched The Unwell Network, which works with content creators to create projects and content across a variety of mediums, focusing on genres such as pop-culture, beauty, fashion and lifestyle. The company’s first two partners at launch were Alix Earle and Madeline Argy.
The Unwell Network is a new subsidiary of Trending, the Gen Z media company Cooper established with her fiancé, XO Kitty producer Matt Kaplan, who runs ACE Entertainment.
