Alex Rodriguez declares love for J.Lo on anniversary: 'We are meant to be'
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez celebrated their second anniversary over the weekend and it got the former MLB star feeling extra emotional.
Rodriguez, 43, wrote a love letter to Lopez — whom he affectionately refers to as “Macha 13” — on Instagram, writing he “can’t believe it’s been two years.”
“We are meant to be, and how much you mean to me cannot be put into words,” he gushed. “From baseball games, to traveling across the world to shows in Vegas. We have done it all together and every moment with you is cherished. Where this road will take us next is unknown but there is no one else I would rather have by my side.”
The former Yankees slugger, whose number was 13, says Lopez’s “hard work is unmatched” and that she inspires him to “be a better man each and every day.”
“Like you there is none other,” he concluded. “Words will never do justice to what the last two years have meant to me. Thank you for always being you, for your unwavering support and unconditional love.”
Rodriguez shared 10 photos of the couple’s adventures over the past two years.
Lopez, 49, also publicly declared her love for her boyfriend on their anniversary.
“You make my world a more beautiful safe and stable place… in the midst of our ever-changing, ever-moving life… you make me feel like a teenager starting out all over again,” she wrote.
Who knows what adventures year three will bring. An engagement, perhaps?
