Alexis’ Decision May Cost Someone’s Freedom On September 5 General Hospital

Alexis’ decision to get rid of what she thought was evidence may wind up backfiring for her loved ones on the September 5, 2024 episode of General Hospital.

Mom Mode

After Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) discovered the gun in Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) purse, she put being a mom over being a lawyer and decided to throw the gun into the river. What she didn’t account for was two witnesses to her crime: Ric (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).

When she finally talked to her daughter the next morning, Kristina didn’t hide her relief over John (ex-Adam Harrington, who exited GH this week) being shot dead. That was when Alexis blatantly asked her daughter if she’d done it, as evidence easily alluded to her being the shooter, but Kristina assured her she hadn’t done it.

But as Kristina promised she hadn’t done it, Ric was at GH convincing Elizabeth to come forward with him about seeing Alexis discard a gun.

Hitting A Snag

Meanwhile, after Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) told their story to Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), the attorney suggested a full-on affair would be more believable than a one-night stand at the Quartermaine’s. Carly agreed to go along with it, wanting to keep her children’s father out of prison.

Things turned stickier after Sonny noticed a gun missing from his safe and called Jason (Steve Burton) to help with the situation. “This is the only thing tying me to the murder,” Sonny tells Jason in the preview for the September 6, 2024 episode.
