TYLER, Texas (KETK) – The cast of The History Channel’s “American Pickers” wants to come to East Texas on their antiquing adventures.

According to the “American Pickers” Facebook page, they are set to come to The Lone Star State in September, looking for items to recycle or restore into their former glory. The show, which has been running since 2010, features Mike Wolfe and the team travelling coast to coast looking through junkyards, basements, garages and barns.

Visit Tyler Texas said the cast is looking for large, rare collections of items and would love to hear from East Texans.

The pickers are only interested in private collections, and have the following restrictions for what they will consider:

  • No stores

  • No flea markets

  • No malls

  • No auction businesses

  • No museums

If you are interested having the crew come to you, they ask you to email [email protected] or call 646-493-2184. They ask that you include your name, town and state, phone number, where your collection is located and a brief description of your items.

After the team “picks” their items, they bring them back to their store Antique Archeology, located in Nashville, Tennessee.
