Amid Rumors of Trouble at Home, Ozzy Osbourne ‘Honoring Commitment’ for Public Appearance with Slipknot Frontman
Ozzy Osbourne’s whereabouts have been a topic of much speculation in recent days, but according to reps for the singer, he will be present at a press conference to be held later this week with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor.
The rocker sent the Internet buzzing on Saturday night (May 7), when a report surfaced claiming he and longtime wife Sharon Osbourne had split. Citing sources, E! and later Rolling Stone reported that Ozzy had moved out of the house the two shared. And until photos of Ozzy walking a dog surfaced on Monday (May 9), rumors were starting to spread that he was missing.

Black Sabbath Postpones Another Tour Date Due to Ozzy Osbourne’s Sinusitis
Amid all this gossipy chaos, the Black Sabbath frontman is scheduled to make an appearance with Slipknot’s Taylor on May 12 in what is being teased as a “very special announcement.” And Ozzy, ever the professional, is “honoring all of his commitments,” a rep for the British singer and reality TV star tells Billboard.
Osbourne recently wrapped a leg of the Black Sabbath The End tour with bandmates Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler on April 25 in Brisbane.
It’s been speculated that Ozzfest and Knotfest could be united for a special heavy-rock-edged event this fall, details for which might be shared at the Hollywood gathering on Thursday. A publicist for the press conference insists Osbourne will speak “only about his tour plans” on the day.
