Amy Adams Favors Glittering Embellishments and Off-the-shoulder Necklines in Custom Prada and Velvet Dresses at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival

Amy Adams brought glittering embellishments and sleek, off-the-shoulder sensibility to the red carpet during the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. The six-time Oscar-nominated actress attended the Road to the Golden Globes Party alongside her “Nightb—h” director Marielle Heller on Saturday and the TIFF Tribute Awards on Sunday.

For Saturday’s red carpet, Adams chose a custom gown by Prada in midnight blue. The dress featured a fitted silhouette with jeweled embellishments and ornate sculptural designs scattered over the fabric, enhancing the sleeves, bodice and skirt.

Adams’ dress featured an off-the-shoulder silhouette with subtle ruching on the cups and cinched detailing on the bodice. It had a high waist with a defined waistline. For accessories, Adams chose delicate hoop earrings and a few dainty rings.

A bevy of high-profile stars attended the Road to the Golden Globes event at TIFF on Saturday alongside Adams. Sydney Sweeney brought gothic inspiration to the red carpet event, wearing a black velvet Alexander McQueen gown, styled by Molly Dickson.

“The Substance” star Demi Moore also attended the event in a glossy red leather dress by Proenza Schouler’s Delancey. Ana de Armas and Pamela Anderson were also among the stars who attended the TIFF event on Saturday.

On Sunday, Adams opted for another off-the shoulder style, wearing a velvet dress in a deep cranberry to the TIFF Tribute Awards. The look featured a slim silhouette. Adams accessorized with jewelry courtesy of Cartier. The actress was honored alongside Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett.

The 2024 Toronto International Film Festival concludes on Sunday. Films screening include “The Substance,” starring Moore and Margaret Qualley, Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or-winning “Anora,” Nicole Kidman’s new film “Babygirl” and Gia Coppola’s “The Last Showgirl,” among other titles.
