Amy Schumer Celebrated 6 Year Anniversary with Chris Fischer by Rewatching Vows: 'We Are Kind of Romantic'
The actress said that her husband Chris Fischer nailed his wedding vows when the couple tied the knot in 2018: “I was so impressed.”
Amy Schumer is getting candid about one of her wedding anniversary traditions.
The Trainwreck star, 42, revealed during an appearance on The View while promoting her show Life & Beth that she and husband Chris Fischer often take a walk down memory lane on their wedding anniversary — Feb. 13.
“We are kind of romantic about it because we got married the day before Valentine’s Day,” Schumer shared, adding that they were celebrating their six year anniversary now. “And so we watch our wedding vows. Yeah, we have a little video we watch.”
Schumer went on to joke that she thought she was going to bring the house down at their ceremony, but it was ultimately her husband who had written vows that she described as “amazing.”

“I was like I’ll go second cause we know I’m gonna kill you know? And like ‘you go first,’ but I couldn’t follow him,” she admitted. “His vows were so good. I was so impressed.”
When The View co-host Joy Behar asked what was in his vows, Schumer noted that they had been perfectly tailored to her.
“[For example] this thing at night where I’ll be like — ‘cause I want to talk in bed — ‘How long can I talk to you?’ And so in the vows he’s like you can always talk to me as long as you want at night,” Schumer recalled.
“Yeah, it was just really sweet and personal,” she added.
“You’re a softie. Who knew?,” The View co-host Sunny Hostin teased, to which Schumer responded, “I know. I know. I was really surprised.”

"A couple of weeks ago, we were sitting outside. It was a nice night. It looked like it was going to rain, and I was feeling kind of sentimental, and I was like, 'You know, even though these past couple of years with the pandemic and everything has been so stressful, still this time being with you, being with our son, they've been the best years of my life,' " she recalled.
"And he just looked at me and said, 'I'm going to go put the windows up in the car,'" she continued, jokingly revealing Fischer's response. "Yeah, that's my guy."
