Is Amy Schumer pregnant? Who is Chris Fischer? All their secret wedding questions answered!
Amy Schumer celebrated Valentine’s Day as a newlywed.
Just days after going public with their romance, the Trainwreck star secretly tied the knot with Chris Fischer in an intimate ceremony on Tuesday. Around 80 guests attended the low-key nuptials in California.
Schumer, 36, confirmed the happy news on Instagram on Thursday with a series of gorgeous photos from their special day. Here is everything you need to know about their wedding.

John Early officiated the ceremony: The comedian and actor was in costume as his character “Vicky With a V” when he presided over their nuptials in a blond wig. (It’s the second photo in the slideshow above.)
The couple wed overlooking the ocean in Malibu: The pair exchanged vows at sunset on an estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Two dogs (including Schumer’s pup, Tati) were the flower girl and ring bearer. Schumer’s sister, Kim Caramele, was a bridesmaid.
A lot of famous faces were in attendance: Jennifer Lawrence, in a floor-length pink dress (as seen in photo 6 above), sat in the second row to watch her BFF say, “I do.” In Schumer’s Instagram Story, she also shared a photo of Jake Gyllenhaal — who knows both the bride and groom. Jennifer Aniston, Larry David, Judd Apatow, and Jerry Seinfeld were also reportedly on hand to celebrate.

No, Amy isn’t pregnant: Despite speculation the pair pulled off a shotgun wedding — they’ve been dating for only around six months — the actress shut down rumors that a pregnancy is the reason they got hitched. She also encouraged followers to donate to Everytown for Gun Safety in lieu of sending gifts.

Schumer had a glam squad on hand: Although reports claim the wedding was somewhat impromptu, the actress had no problem getting an all-star team together to help her look the part of a blushing bride. In her Instagram Story, Amy thanked makeup artist Georgie Eisdell, hairstylist Riawna Capri, and her stylist Leesa Evans for their help on her big day. She also hired three photographers.
So who is the man that stole Amy Schumer’s heart?
Fischer gained notoriety around New York City as Mario Batali‘s sous chef at famed Italian restaurant Babbo. In 2016, he won the James Beard Award for American Cooking for his cookbook, The Beetlebung Farm Cookbook: A Year of Cooking on Martha’s Vineyard. He has worked all over the world at top restaurants in Rome, London, and Tokyo.
Fischer runs Beetlebung Farm in Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., a place Schumer frequents (despite possibly getting banned from the island). The Fischer family has owned the Massachusetts staple, which is a 5-acre parcel of land in the southwest corner of the island, since the 1950s. Fischer took it over in 2010, after his aunt retired. (Fun fact: Schumer knows a thing or two about a farm because in 2016, she bought back her father’s.)
Schumer filmed her upcoming comedy I Feel Pretty over the summer in Boston, and it’s been speculated that’s when the pair began dating. They were first photographed on a date in November and, most recently, packed on the PDA at Ellen DeGeneres’s birthday party last weekend.
Happy Birthday @theellenshow thank you for having us!
