Ana Navarro says immigrants are 'risking their lives' to keep country running during coronavirus pandemic

Ana Navarro stopped by the Hot Topics table at The View after an extended absence from the show, and she wasted no time diving right into the debate over President Trump’s latest round of restrictions on immigration.

Navarro told viewers that she feels Americans who are in favor of Trump’s immigration ban need to give credit to immigrants who have helped keep the country running during the coronavirus crisis.

“If you were able to pour fresh milk into your cereal this morning, if you had sliced strawberries, if you have been eating meat, if you have been drinking dairy it’s probably because there are immigrants —undocumented immigrants — in the fields of America risking their lives, working not at six feet apart in order to continue feeding us,” said Navarro.

She continued, “We really have to think about just how much immigration has meant to flattening this curve and dealing with this issue — legal and undocumented. That’s the damn truth.”
