Anderson .Paak, Thundercat, More Will Guest Star on ‘Yo Gabba GabbaLand’
Ready to rock out in Yo Gabba GabbaLand? On Monday, Apple TV+ announced that it will premiere a reprised version of Yo Gabba Gabba on Aug. 9, featuring a long list of guest stars, including Anderson. Paak, Flea, and Thundercat.
Among the other guests set to be featured on the kids’ show are Portugal. The Man, Betty Who, the Linda Lindas, Miyavi, Cory Wong and Antwaun Stanley, Kurt Vile, the Interrupters, and the Drums. Each artist will perform tracks tied to the themes of each episode.

“Come on, let’s turn up!” declares Anderson .Paak in a snippet from his appearance.
Reggie Watts, Sam Richardson, Gillian Jacobs, Paul Williams, and Chelsea Peretti will also be making appearances on the series. The show will be hosted by Kammy Kam (Kamryn Smith) and include original characters from the series: Foofa, Brobee, Muno, Toodee, and Plex.
“Filled with optimism and fun, the performances teach kids and families life lessons through song and dance that allow them to learn, laugh, and grow together,” read a synopsis of the upcoming series. (Billboard broke the news of the show’s special guests.)
The new series brings back the characters from Christian Jacobs and Scott Schultz-created musical series that aired on Nick Jr. from 2007 to 2015. In 2021, it was announced that the new version of the series would make its return. In April, Apple TV+ picked the show up, which will feature 10 new episodes.
The original Yo Gabba Gabba! featured numerous special guests as well, including the Killers, Weezer, the Aquabats, Solange, the Roots, Sean Kingston, Jack Black, Tony Hawk, Jason Bateman, and Anthony Bourdain.
