Andrew Dice Clay on Trump: 'This guy stole my whole act to become president'
Andrew Dice Clay dropped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert where he accused President Trump of stealing his act. Clay rose to fame in the ‘80s with an act that was vulgar, misogynistic, and full of behavior that would otherwise be unacceptable in society. But he sees a difference between himself and Trump.
“The bottom line is, what I do is an act,” Clay said. “When you’re the president of these United States … we need to stay united. And somebody has to own up.”
Clay obviously paid attention during the campaign, referring to the debates as arguments and fights. He also described what he would do were he to become president.
“If I’m president, no more Monday,” Clay said. “Nobody likes Monday. Let’s go straight to Tuesday. We’ll do two Saturdays.”
Given the ridiculousness of politics in America these days, “We’ll do two Saturdays” sounds like a winning platform in 2020.
