Andrew Shue Offers Rare Life Update, Says He Is 'Very Happy' amid Relationship with Marilee Fiebig
“I'm doing very well," Shue said amid his relationship with Fiebig, whose ex-husband T.J. Holmes is currently dating Shue's ex-wife Amy Robach
Andrew Shue is offering a rare update on his life.
In the latest episode of Still the Place, a Melrose Place rewatch podcast, the actor, 57, opened up about what he has been up to and his plans for the future.
Hosts Laura Layton, Courtney Thorne Smith and Daphne Zuniga kicked off the episode asking about his life lately, and Shue — who is in a relationship with Marilee Fiebig, whose ex-husband T.J. Holmes is currently dating Shue's ex-wife Amy Robach — said things are good.
“I'm doing very well,” he shared. “I am very happy. My kids are all great, and I'm working on a project.”
Shue explained that he is in the process of creating “citizen assemblies” for people to unite and advocate for united legislation. As for the political space, The Rainmaker actor even joked that he has been asked if he would ever run for office.
“Right now, I think it's better to do what we're doing and figure out the right way eventually to bring in elected leaders into this and to to support this,” he said. “But I think we have to prove that again, as the citizens who are outside of the political arena, I think as soon as it becomes political in that sense, then right away it's like, ‘Oh, which party? Which party are you trying to benefit?’”
“That's really not what this is about,” he added.

Shue and Fiebig were first linked a year after it was revealed that their exes, former GMA3 co-hosts Robach and Holmes, were romantically involved. They have since been seen publicly multiple times, with a source telling PEOPLE in mid-February that they were still “going strong.”
On Dec. 5, Robach and Holmes clarified on their podcast that there was no overlap between their marriages and the start of their relationship with one another, despite speculation.
“Nov. 30, 2022, was the day that we were, and this is very important, we were outed.... To be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers — being outed as cheating on our spouses — and it wasn’t the case because the odd thing is, the day those pictures were taken and the day that article was released, we both at that point were in divorce proceedings," Holmes said.

Prior to that, the pair had also approached the topic of their marriages (when first spotted together, Robach had not confirmed her separation from Shue, nor Holmes from Fiebig).
“We did not enter this relationship for fun or for ‘Let's see what happens,’” Robach explained on the podcast. “We entered this relationship because we intended on spending our lives together. So whether or not we have some sort of legal, you know, I don't know, button on it.”
“We both have two marriages under our belts and so it's not something we're racing to or rushing towards,” she continued. “But there is something, I get it, it's this thing that I can't even explain why there's this desire, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I can say that. It's on the table. It's on the table.”
