Andrew Walker Stars in Hallmark's Passport to Love Movie, 'For Love & Honey'

We're heading into summer and before many of us set off on our family vacations, Hallmark is ready to take you around the world in their Passport to Love series of movies. The first stamp in your Passport to Love is from Malta where For Love & Honey was filmed.

What is For Love & Honey about?

Austen (Andrew Walker) is an American archeologist following a lead in Malta in hopes of securing a project that will guarantee his tenure. Eva (Margaret Clunie) is a local Maltese beekeeper who has followed in her late mother’s footsteps in running her family apiary. When a “bee-mergency” leads Eva to the local library, she and Austen discover that the spot where the hive is hiding just might hold the clues to a major local archaeological mystery. Though Austen is convinced of the find’s importance, the bees are nationally protected and he is only permitted to continue studying the location under Eva’s watch. Though Eva is initially reluctant to help Austen, who has demonstrated an aversion to bees, her knowledge of the island turns out to be exactly what Austen needs to research this new find. As Eva helps Austen, he gains a new appreciation for the ecological and cultural significance of the bees she has devoted her life to and they begin to fall in love. However, it turns out that the biggest thing standing in their way might just be history.

Margaret Clunie (Eva)

Margaret Clunie was recently seen in the second season of Dalgliesh on Acorn TV. Previously, she was seen in the Star Wars prequel series, Andor and Paul Feig’s Universal Pictures film Last Christmas. She played the series regular role of Harriet, The Duchess of Sutherland in the hit PBS series Victoria.

Andrew Walker (Austen)

Montreal native and actor Andrew Walker has been making Hallmark fans swoon for over a decade. Since his debut on the network in A Bride for Christmas, Walker has appeared as the company’s leading man in more than 20 movies, including holiday hits and seasonal classics like The Perfect Catch, Love Struck Café, Bottled with Love, My Christmas Family Tree,  Maple Valley Christmas, A Safari Romance, and the highly-rated hit movie, Three Wise Men and a Baby. For Hallmark Mystery, Walker stars opposite Nikki DeLoach in the popular Curious Caterer Mysteries.
