Andy Cohen responds after he's criticized for dog eating newborn son's toy: 'Stand down'
Andy Cohen isn’t even two weeks into fatherhood, but he’s having another battle with the parent police.
After the Watch What Happens Live host was criticized for taking his newborn son on a private jet earlier this month, shamers are now coming for Cohen over how his beloved dog is supposedly behaving around baby Benjamin. This time, the Bravo personality is firing back.

Cohen revealed on Instagram how his dog Wacha ripped apart one of his son’s toys and said people are reading way too much into it.
“Okay, flooded with DMs from people saying I’ve got a big problem on my hands…Wacha’s jealous of my son,” he later explained in his Story. “Wacha didn’t know that the Torah toy — we’re talking about a Torah toy — belonged to the baby. He just had his eye on a purple f***ing toy and he wanted to rip it apart. It’s not that deep. Stand down. Everything’s fine in the West Village.”
He added, “Hey, I’ve been a dad for 12 days, people are judgy as f***. We gotta be careful, okay. Sometimes a Torah toy is just a Torah toy everybody, right?”
The 50-year-old television personality welcomed Benjamin Allen Cohen via surrogate on Feb 4. This week, he introduced his boy to the world on the cover of People.

Cohen also FaceTimed into the Today show and gushed about his baby boy.
“I was in the delivery room, they cleaned him up a little bit. I took my shirt off and they put him right there and he was so alert,” he recalled. “He wasn’t crying. His eyes were open, and we just stared at each other for about two hours, just looking at each other and he was touching my face. It was just incredible.”
“I just sit and stare at him. I can’t get over his head of hair. He’s adorable, you guys. He’s so cute,” he added. “I was hoping he was going to have a little hair on his head, and the kid’s already over delivering.”
Cohen noted how it’s “not that easy for a single guy to do this on his own.”
“It takes a village as they say,” he acknowledged. “I really wanted him, and the fact that he’s here and he’s perfect and in wonderful health, I have great gratitude for my surrogate and all the people who helped me get to this place.”
