Angela Simmons Celebrates Yo Gotti’s Birthday With Steamy Bikini Photos

Yo Gotti celebrated another trip around the sun this past Sunday (May 19), and he spent the day with his special someone. The Memphis rapper flew to Turks and Caicos for a tropical vacation, where he and his lady, Angela Simmons, showed off their love.

Simmons posted a carousel of photos on her Instagram page that saw her enjoying time by the pool while rocking a blue bikini. The third slide showed the word “Gotti” written on her bottoms in big white font, and the final photo was a romantic pic of the couple hugging by the amazing view. “Happy Birthday Babe #YouAllReadyKnow,” she captioned the photo set.

The comments quickly filled with positivity and support for the pair. “It’s the natural body and unfiltered for me! Natural curves are still a win,” one user praised, while another wrote, “She said a word without even saying a word.”

The ongoing love story was first sparked in 2015 when Yo Gotti publicly shot his shot at the daughter of Rev Run. On his “Down In The DM” smash hit that year, he rapped, “And I just followed Angela (Simmons)/ Boy, I got a crush on Angela Simmons/ They like, Damn Gotti, you bold/ F**k it, I’m gon’ let the world know.”

Around that time, Simmons also announced her engagement to Sutton Tennyson. The pair went on to have a son, but split by 2017. Tennyson was later shot and killed in his Atlanta home in 2018.

Gotti’s public declaration wound up working out in his favor, as the couple announced their relationship on Instagram in January 2023. That same month, Simmons gushed over her persistent suitor, taking to her Instagram stories Monday to share that she is “Happier than I’ve ever been.”

On the music front, Gotti’s latest release was August 2023’s I Showed U So project. The mixtape was a collaboration with DJ Drama and boasted guest appearances from Moneybagg Yo and Rich Homie Quan. Prior to that was his headline-making compilation album Gangsta Art, a posse project that showed off his CMG roster. The offering housed standout performances from GloRilla, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, and more. Revisit both project below.
