LeToya Luckett And Angela White To Star In Lifetime Movie ‘I Thought My Husband’s Wife Was Dead’
Letoya Luckett and Angela “Blac Chyna” White are bringing their talents together on the silver screen. The two ladies are set to star in the upcoming Lifetime movie I Thought My Husband’s Wife Was Dead. The thriller is based on the novel Unmissing by bestselling author Minka Kent. Alongside the aforementioned stars, Sherilyn Allen and Jamall Johnson are on board to bring the story to life.
According to the network’s press release, the drama centers on a beautiful wife and expectant mother, Lola Winters (played by Allen), who seems to have it all: a big house, a dashing husband, Leo Winters (played by Johnson), and a thriving restaurant business.
Suddenly, their picture-perfect life is interrupted when a ghost from the past Tori, portrayed by Luckett, shows up at her doorstep in search of her husband Leo, after having gone missing for 5 years and being declared dead.
“Tensions rise and lives are turned upside down as Tori’s unexpected return leaves everyone questioning her motives and why she hasn’t gone to the police,” describes Lifetime. “Determined to start a new life, Tori demands that the Winters pay her hundreds of thousands of dollars, but before leaving town a bombshell revelation exposes even more dark and shocking secrets.”
I Thought My Husband’s Wife Was Dead, produced by JPS Productions Inc., premieres Aug. 3. Stacy Mandelberg and Tamara T. Gregory are executive producers, and Navid Soofi serves as producer. Troy Scott is credited as the director with the movie script written by Gregory.
