Anna Duggar Discusses Coping With Josh’s Infidelity
On the second part of Jill and Jessa: Counting On, Anna Duggar discussed her life since her husband, Josh, admitted to cheating on her. The 27-year-old mother of four said that when she found out, “It just seemed like a bad dream, it didn’t seem possible, and I just thought, I’m gonna wake up and everything is going to be okay and this really can’t be true.”
Unfortunately, it was true, and after issuing an apology to his family, friends, and fans, Josh went away for counseling. Anna and her children moved in with Josh’s parents, and she began to try to heal from his betrayal. Much of that healing comes from Anna’s strong Christian faith, and as for her future with Josh, she said she made a vow “for better or for worse.”
Anna hopes that she and Josh can get past this, saying, “I pray through all this that I would be an extension of God’s love for Joshua and that I would love him and forgive him and that I would wait patiently and allow God to work in our hearts and my prayer, and my heart’s desire is for our marriage to be restored.”
See Jill and Jessa open up about their lives after all the drama.
