Anna Faris Shares Rare Photo with 20-Year-Old Stepdaughter Margot: 'Teaching Me How to Use Instagram'
The actress is stepmom to husband Michael Barrett's two kids and is mom to son Jack, 11, whom she shares with ex Chris Pratt
Anna Faris is learning how to use Instagram — and her stepdaughter is helping her!
On Friday, Aug. 2, the actress, 47, shared a photo on her Instagram of herself and her stepdaughter Margot, 20. Both Faris and Margot wore matching hats and brown tops, posing together for the photo.
Margot pursed her lips and looked into the camera while Faris raised an eyebrow. "My beautiful brilliant stepdaughter is teaching me how to use instagram (again) @margotbarett," Faris joked in her caption.

Faris is stepmom to her husband Michael Barrett's two kids — Margot and his 17-year-old son. She is also mom to son Jack, 11, whom she shares with ex Chris Pratt.
In July, Faris spoke candidly about her experience becoming a stepmom after she married her husband in 2021.
"She's 20 now. She's at Georgetown [University]," Faris said to Hoda Kotb and Justin Sylvester on an episode ofToday. "I'm really proud of her, and a 17-year-old boy who's totally excelling at school."
"But when I first was entered into their lives I had no idea how to relate to them," Faris shared. "So I remember trying to be really cool, like blasting music when I would go pick up my stepdaughter, and, of course, she was mortified."
"That's kind of one example of my stumbling through that position," Faris said, noting that she eventually learned to take a step back and let the kids come to her.
Faris, who stars in the new action-comedy My Spy The Eternal City, spoke with PEOPLE that same month about a playful tradition with her son Jack that she said keeps her "youthful."
"Every six months he gets to choose an activity. Because we live in Los Angeles, sometimes it'll be Disneyland. We haven't conquered Universal Studios yet. But going up to the San Diego Zoo, that kind of thing. And I love those mother-son trips."

"Getting delight in feeling rascally with him, feeling like a kid with him, is incredibly fun," said Faris. "And we'll play-act games together. I'll be a mean nanny, or I love to do boarding-school headmistress."
Faris added, "I love playing those kinds of imaginary games with people in my life, which annoys some of them but doesn't seem to annoy Jack too much yet. Unless we're around other kids. Then he's like, 'Mom, stop it. Stop it.' "
