Anna Wintour is Fall Ready in Slouchy Reptilian-Inspired Boots at US Open Tennis Championships 2024

Anna Wintour attended the 2024 US Open Tennis Championships held yesterday at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York. Wintour attended the sporting event alongside fellow fashion fixture Vera Wang.
Vogue’s Editor-In-Chief took the stands in a pair of reptilian-inspired booties. Though the length of the style was concealed under the hem of her dress, it is likely Wintour’s footwear pick was knee-high, a length she tends to gravitate towards.
The boot featured slouchy white leather uppers featuring black dotting throughout that imparted a reptilian quality. Gold buckle accents were fixed to the sides, threaded through adjustable straps that appeared to change the fit of the shoe.
Triangular toes gave way to 2 to 3-inch block heels, offering the British media executive a subtle boost in height. Wintour’s footwear choice is comparable to styles hailing from top brands like Staud, Balmain, Tecovas and Wolf & Badger, among others.
In typical Wintour fashion, the London native sported a maxi-length floral dress in a coordinating black and white hue. The garment featured a high neckline, long sleeves and a black floral print that looked as if it was freehanded with black ink or paint. Wintour toted a brown shoulder bag and donned her iconic black sunglasses and sleep bob, finishing off her look.
The 2024 US Open Tennis Championships take place from Aug. 26, through Sept. 8. Matches will air on ABC and ESPN and stream on Sling TV. Athletes will compete for a title and total prize money of $75 million, a 15 percent increase from 2023. Notable contenders include Coco Gauff, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and Aryna Sabalenka.
So far, the championships have gathered a crowd of impressive famous folk including Wintour, Vera Wang, Kerry Washington, Misty Copeland, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Katie Couric and Billie Jean King, among others.
