Anne Hathaway Debuts Gap Shirtdress With Elevated and Sheer Twists by Zac Posen at Bulgari Party in Rome With Priyanka Chopra and More

Anne Hathaway stepped out in Rome on Monday wearing a custom look that elevated the white shirtdress style. The Oscar-winning actress was spotted leaving the Bulgari Hotel, decked out in a combination of elevated monochrome dressing and dazzling jewels.

While out in Rome, Hathaway fashioned a custom Gap look curated by Zac Posen. The unbuttoned white shirtdress, styled to reveal a sheer corset, featured asymmetric straps, with one as a cap sleeve on Hathaway’s shoulder and the other off her shoulder. The look came with a high slit, pockets and unbuttoned bodice that revealed a structured corset top with exposed boning. Posen was named the creative director of Gap and chief creative officer of Old Navy in February 2024.

Along with the Gap maxidress, Hathaway fashioned a pair of pointed-toe white pumps and Bulgari jewelry, including a sparkling statement necklace. Hathaway’s classic makeup look, with bold eyes and a soft lip, was done by Gucci Westman, with her hair styled in a natural, flowing look by Orlando Pita. Her entire look was curated by stylist Erin Walsh, who’s collaborated with Selena Gomez and Alison Brie among other A-list stars.

Hathaway has been an ambassador for Bulgari since May 2022. The actress made her debut in the “Unexpected Wonders” campaign for the jewelry brand alongside “Challengers” star Zendaya, who is also often seen wearing Bulgari jewels on various red carpets. Coincidentally, Hathaway’s first campaign with Bulgari was the same site as last night’s event — Rome.

Since joining Bulgari as an ambassador, Hathaway has been seen at several events for the Italian luxury fashion house. In May 2023, one year after she was named an ambassador, Hathaway attended Bulgari’s High Jewelry Show in Venice. Zendaya, Priyanka Chopra and Blackpink’s Lisa were among the high-profile guests, and fellow ambassadors, who joined Hathaway at the event.
