A$AP Rocky Says Rihanna “Fell In Love” With Him At “Fashion Killa” Video Shoot
A$AP Rocky shares what he believes to be the moment he earned Rihanna’s heart, and for fans of the couple, it may not be a surprise.
Covering W Magazine, with images captured by Rih, the Harlem rapper opened up about their relationship and its origin.
“This is very special because this is the first place she fell in love with me,” he explained to the outlet during the photoshoot at the Mercer Hotel in New York City. In the conversation, he points to a piece of furniture as the “Work” performer laughs.
“Virgil Abloh shot the music video for ‘Fashion Killa’ in 2012, and that was the same couch where Rihanna and I sat in the first scene,” adding, “That was that same room.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the 36-year-old discussed parenting his and Rihanna’s two sons, Rza, 2, and Riot, 1.
“I think Rza is going to keep to himself. He’s an introvert,” the “L$D” rhymer shared. “Riot’s an extrovert—he’s just like his mom. Rza is more so like his dad, like me. And he’s my twin. He got his mom’s forehead, but he got everything else from me. I love my boy’s big forehead! I loved it on his mother. Listen to ‘Jukebox Joints.’ ”
He continued, “Riot looks up to Rza,” adding, “I think Rza’s warming up to Riot.”
The Bad Gal herself has also opened up about their shared parenthood journey.
“I loved him differently as a dad,” shared the pop star last year. “This is major, major-like; it’s a turn-on. It’s just like, ‘Wow! What a leader, what a great, patient, loving [dad],’” she said. “And my kids are obsessed with him. I’m just a background, I’m an extra. Yep! It happens! It doesn’t matter if it’s girls or boys; they love their dad differently, and I love to see it.”
