A$AP Rocky Takes Over The Puma NYC Flagship For His Latest Footwear and Apparel Drop
More from Footwear News
A$AP Rocky held an event at Puma’s New York City flagship store on Nov. 7 to unveil his newest motorsport-inspired footwear, apparel and accessories collection, which is now available to purchase.
The collection takes design cues from night racing and neon lights. On the footwear front, the drop features a new colorway for the Mostro 3.D and a restock of the rapper’s version of the Inhale Sneaker, which is re-engineered with a distressed treatment as well as custom embroidery. This release follows the debut of the A$AP Rocky x Puma Mostro 3.D sneaker, which is made using a 3D printing process.
A$AP Rocky was a DJ at the event, in addition to A$AP Lou and SS4K. The event also featured customization stations, interactive photo moments, giveaways, among other things.
The rapper celebrated his partnership with Puma at another event in September, which found him and his supporters making their way through the New York City streets to celebrate at The Blond after a private collection preview.
“[With Puma] we are going to take motorcross and motorsport and blend it all into one,” Rocky said at the preview held less than two months ago. “I think I am the catalyst for that. So, this origin story starts like that. Right now, you are seeing a collection that looks like it has been worn by a man that has been working on his car all day. You can see the oil stains and the details, especially in the new Inhales.”
Rocky teamed with Puma in 2023, boarding the company as director of its F1 partnership.
