'American Idol': Harry Connick, Jr. returns as mentor tonight -- EXCLUSIVE PHOTO

A throwback crooner comes back to American Idol: Harry Connick, Jr. is serving as this week’s mentor, and will be seen on tonight’s show (Fox, 8 p.m.) working with finalists Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison.

The theme for the week is “Then and Now,” which means contestants will sing both a standard and a song from 2013.

Connick — who also mentored contestants in season 9 — will debut his new single “Every Man Should Know” on tomorrow night’s results show, which also includes a performance by Will.i.am.
