On May 14, the comedy Frankie Go Boom starring Chris O’Dowd and Charlie Hunnam hits Blu-ray and DVD. O’Dowd plays aspiring filmmaker and recovering addict Bruce, who uploads an embarrassing amateur porno of his brother Frank (Hunnam) to the Internet that he really shouldn’t have. The brothers enlist the help of Bruce’s transsexual computer-hacker buddy, played by Hunnam’s Sons of Anarchy costar Ron Perlman. Below, watch an exclusive clip from the extras in which O’Dowd, Hunnam, and Perlman discuss the inspired casting.

“I kinda wanna try my hand at everything before they close the lid on me,” Perlman says in the bonus feature. He though the script was too funny, and the cast too great, to pass on the role. Hunnam says he sent Perlman the script and told the filmmakers he’d call him to make sure he read it: “I thought maybe he’d call me back and say, ‘Are you out of your mind?’ But he called me back the next day and said, ‘I’m in.'”
