'Insurgent' director Robert Schwentke will be back for 'Allegiant-Part 1'

Robert Schwentke, who took over the helm of the Divergent series, from Neil Burger, will be back for another installment. Schwentke is set to helm Allegiant — Part 1, the first film adapting Veronica Roth’s conclusion to her dystopian trilogy, EW has confirmed. Variety first reported the news.
Insurgent is due out in March of next year, while the first part Allegiant is scheduled for March of the following year. Schwentke’s credits include Flightplan, The Time Traveler’s Wife, and, most recently, R.I.P.D.
Divergent, the first installment in the Shailene Woodley-starring franchise about a society in which people are divided into factions, grossed $288.7 million worldwide.
