‘Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders’ Adds Heather Graham, Elizabeth Reaser
Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders has tapped a trio of familiar faces. Heather Graham, Elizabeth Reaser, and Larry Cedar have joined the cast of NBC’s new anthology series, EW has learned.
The eight-episode true-crime installment of the Law & Order franchise goes inside the notorious murder case that changed America forever. When the Menendez brothers were tried on national TV for brutally killing their parents in Beverly Hills, their story became a national obsession. Now, the first edition of this anthology series delves into the players, the crime, and the media circus, detailing the day-to-day battles of the trial and unveiling the shocking truth of what really went down when the cameras stopped rolling.
Graham, whose TV credits include Angie Tribeca, Flowers in the Attic, and Scrubs, will play Judalon Smyth, a sexy and emotionally fragile woman who is having an affair with Dr. Oziel, the brothers’ therapist. She’s desperate for Oziel to leave his wife and craves his attention.
Reaser, meanwhile, will play Deputy District Attorney Pam Bozanich, who is assigned to the murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez. She has to fight the machismo politics of the DA’s office to keep control of the case. An alum of the Twilight franchise, Reaser’s TV credits include Grey’s Anatomy, True Detective, and The Ex List.

Deadwood and The Riches star Cedar will play Kitty’s older brother, Milton Andersen. He is a man of Midwestern reserve who attends a family memorial in a large hotel suite — oh, and he covets the Menendez’s fortune.
The cast also includes Edie Falco, Anthony Edwards, and Julianne Nicholson, with Miles Gaston Villanueva and Gus Halper set to play the Menendez brothers.
Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders will debut Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
