Ariana Grande, Bowen Yang Trick Stevie Nicks Into Singing in ‘SNL’ Promo
Things are getting witchy on Saturday Night Live this weekend! On Thursday, NBC debuted new promos for the upcoming episode that capture Bowen Yang and this week’s host Ariana Grande getting Stevie Nicks to sing a few lyrics for them.
In the first SNL promo, the trio jokes about their ties to witches given Grande’s role in Wicked and Nicks’ witchy reputation.

“Iconic witchy women are here, just in time for spooky season,” says Yang.
“Spooky season? Stevie and I are witches all year!” responds Grande.
“365, 24/7!” adds Nicks.
In the second silly clip, Grande and Yang snuck in some Fleetwood Mac lyrics to get the musical guest to serenade them.
“This is your second time hosting,” Yang tells Grande, before her “Gypsy”-referencing response: “Well, you know what they say: ‘Lightning strikes maybe once, maybe twice.'”
Holding up two fingers, Nicks interrupts, “You can’t trick me into singing!”
Yang continues the chat by asking Grande about her weekend, as Grande brings in another Fleetwood Mac reference. “It was good! I climbed a mountain and I turned around,” she says.
“Well that’s funny because I saw my reflection on the snow-covered hills,” continues Yang with the “Landslide” lyric. Nicks ultimately gives in, singing, “And the landslide brought me down!” Yang and Grande end the clip with a collective cheer.
Saturday’s episode will mark the third of the season after Coldplay performed and Nate Bargatze hosted last week. Next week, Michael Keaton will take on hosting duties with Billie Eilish as the featured performer. On Nov. 2, Chappell Roan will perform, while John Mulaney will host the show.
