Ariana Grande Radiates in Iridescent Atelier Versace Dress at ‘Wicked’ Mexico City Premiere With Cynthia Erivo
Ariana Grande made a glowing entrance at the Mexico City premiere of “Wicked” on Monday. The singer was accompanied by her costar, Cynthia Erivo.
Grande’s strapless Atelier Versace gown embraced the liquid look trend with its sleek, iridescent sheen. The structured bodice featured a plunging neckline, transitioning into a ruffled, voluminous skirt. The “Eternal Sunshine” artist completed her look with a Swarovski necklace and jeweled rings.

Stylist Mimi Cuttrell, who also counts Gigi Hadid and “Outer Banks” star Madelyn Cline as clients, dressed Grande for the occasion.
Hairdresser Michael Anthony styled Grande’s blond tresses in a half-updo, while makeup artist Gabor K. used products from her own makeup brand, R.E.M. Beauty, to give her sparkly eye shadow and luminescent highlighter.
“Mesmerizing the world, one Atelier Versace look at a time ?? @arianagrande you are angelic! I love you,” wrote creative director Donatella Versace on Instagram.
Erivo embraced a witchy aesthetic in a custom Thom Browne gown with intricate beading and shoulder pads extending into shadowy hands. Jason Bolden, stylist to Nicole Kidman and Cara Delevingne, curated her spellbinding look.
At the Los Angeles premiere of “Wicked” on Saturday, Grande and Erivo embraced each of their characters’ respective color schemes: pink and green, with the former wearing a gingham tea length dress by Thom Browne and the latter selecting a cutout vinyl gown by Louis Vuitton.
The first installment of “Wicked,” Chu’s film adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical, debuts in theaters on Nov. 22. Notable supporting cast members including Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum and Jonathan Bailey. A sequel to the film is slated for a 2025 release.
